Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about sending photos to your loved one.

What photo formats do you accept?

We accept JPEG, PNG, HEIC (the default format on iPhones), and WebP. Most photos from your phone or camera will work without any conversion needed. Our system automatically handles HEIC-to-JPEG conversion behind the scenes.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders are printed within 24 hours of approval and mailed via USPS First-Class Mail. Typical delivery time is 3-5 business days after mailing, though some facilities may take slightly longer due to their internal mail processing procedures.

What is the moderation process?

Every photo is reviewed to ensure it complies with correctional facility guidelines. Our system uses a combination of automated screening and human review. This process typically completes within a few hours. Photos that don't meet guidelines are flagged, and you're notified immediately with a clear explanation.

Can I send to federal and state facilities?

Yes! We deliver to federal (BOP), state (DOC), and county correctional facilities across all 50 US states. When adding a recipient, you'll select the facility type and provide the inmate ID number specific to that system.

What if a photo is rejected?

If a photo doesn't pass our compliance review, you'll receive an email explaining why. A refund for that specific photo is automatically issued to your original payment method (typically 5-10 business days). You're always welcome to upload a replacement photo.

How does the subscription work?

Our subscription plans give you a set number of photo credits each month at a discounted per-photo rate. Unused credits roll over for one billing cycle. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime from your billing page — no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor (the highest level of security). We never store your credit card number on our servers. Your financial data is encrypted end-to-end.

What size are the prints?

All photos are printed as 4x6 inch glossy prints — the standard photo size you'd get from Shutterfly or your local pharmacy. We use professional-grade printers and premium photo paper for vivid, true-to-life colors that look and feel like a real photograph.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You'll receive email updates at every stage: when your order is confirmed, when photos pass review, when they're printed, and when they're mailed. You can also check the status of any order anytime from your account dashboard.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only deliver to correctional facilities within the United States (all 50 states plus Washington D.C.). International facility support is not available at this time, but we're evaluating expansion options for the future.
